Brent Sobol is an NAA award winning owner and operator of multifamily real estate in Atlanta, Georgia and also Founder and Executive Director of Legacy Community Housing Corporation, a nonprofit dedicated to the promotion of crime free multifamily housing.   Brent has been a hands-on owner / operator since 1995, directly overseeing the repositioning of 12 distressed apartment communities.   Sobol is a frequent contributor to UNITS Magazine on crime prevention and author of the industry acclaimed article on crime Prevention: “A 10-Step Action Plan to Suppress Crime at Apartments.” Via an interactive and one of a kind ""show & tell,"" Sobol shares his tips and techniques for successful management of crime issues in high crime apartment communities. Through a process he calls the Turnaround Template, he systematically repositions apartment communities and takes them from unhealthy to award winning; addressing the crime and community safety component is often his #1 priority on takeover day.  A two time NAA Paragon Award winner, Mr. Sobol was also named the 2009 Citizen of the Year by the Atlanta Police Department for his efforts to reduce crime in apartment communities.  Sobol consults, trains, and partners with apartment owners and management companies that have crime problems.
